Greetings,

I am trying to Install Hyper-V on my windows 10 home HP Laptop. I have run systeminfo on an elevated command prompt and the 1st, third, and fourth showed yes for hyper v while the second option Virtualization enabled in firmware showed no. Please note that this computer is unable to connect to the internet for security reasons. I attempted the steps shown in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2194529/enabling-hyper-v-on-windows-10-home?page=1#answers to no avail. Any help is appreciated!

Microsoft clearly states that Hyper-V on Windows Home is not supported.

However, you might want to refer to https://gist.github.com/HimDek/6edde284203a620745fad3f762be603b?permalink_comment_id=5461362#gistcomment-5461362 for suggestions regarding making the workaround you're attempting to work

If you want to have a reliable, supported way to run Hyper-V on Windows 11, you should upgrade the Home edition to Pro. Otherwise you will need to deal with issues associated with running unsupported configuration.

Alternatively, you can try Oracle VM VirtualBox and VMware Workstation Pro. Both are Type-2 hypervisors, meaning they run directly on top of your existing Windows operating system.

    Oracle VM VirtualBox is free
