Follow these steps to try to get the Xbox/Microsoft profile back and stop the Game Pass charges:

    1. Use the official hacked-account recovery flow
    2. If the email and security info were changed
      • Use the account recovery form linked from the hacked-account article and provide as much correct information as possible (old passwords, Xbox gamertag, purchase details, etc.).
      • If the recovery form repeatedly fails and the hacker has fully replaced the security info, there is no other working method to recover that Microsoft account, and support cannot override this.
    3. Check for unusual sign-in and secure the account (if access is regained)
      • After regaining access, go to the Security basics page and use Review activity to check recent sign-ins.
      • Mark any activity that is not yours and follow the prompts to Secure your account.
      • Change the password and review security info (phone, alternate email, authenticator app) to remove anything the attacker added.
    4. Stop or dispute Game Pass charges
      • If access is recovered, sign in to the Microsoft account dashboard and cancel the Game Pass subscription from the subscriptions/billing section.
      • If access cannot be recovered, contact the payment provider (bank/credit card/PayPal) to block future charges and dispute any fraudulent ones.
    5. If recovery keeps failing
      • Try the Sign-in Helper again from a different device and network, and make sure all details entered match past usage as closely as possible.
      • If the recovery form still does not grant access and security info is changed, the account is effectively unrecoverable and a new Microsoft account will be needed for future Xbox use.
