Hello, in 2018 i bought some games on another account and now i can't remember / can't find the log-in anymore.

When i try to recover it using my phonenumber it shows 8 emails linked to the number.

All starting with the same 2 keys and then ***** so i don't know the rest.

Is there a way microsoft can send me my email adresses towards my phone number somehow?

Microsoft cannot send a full list of all email addresses linked to a phone number, but there are supported ways to look up and recover the correct Microsoft account.

    Use these steps:

    1. Look up usernames using your phone number
      • Go to the Look up your Microsoft account page and use your phone number as the security contact: Search.
      • Request a security code to your phone.
      • After entering the code, a hint of each username will be shown in a format like: j*******@outlook.com.
      • Repeat this for any other phone or email you may have used.
    2. Check products or services where the account was used
      • Check all email accounts for receipts from Microsoft for the games bought (digital games, subscriptions, etc.). This can help identify which email address was used for purchases.
      • If the games were on Xbox, use the Xbox “Find your Microsoft email address walkthrough” linked from here: Check products or services where you used your Microsoft account.
    3. Confirm whether an email is a Microsoft account
      • For any email address you suspect, go to https://account.microsoft.com and enter it.
      • If a password prompt appears, that address is a Microsoft account.
      • If the message says “We couldn't find an account with that username” or “That Microsoft account doesn't exist,” check spelling and domain or see if the account may have been closed.
    4. If the username is known but won’t sign in
      • If a recovered username and password no longer work, follow the guidance in My username and password have stopped working and use Recover your account to reset the password: Recover your account.

If none of the hints match and the account has not been used for a long time, it may have been closed and may no longer be recoverable.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

In addition to what the AI mentioned, your only option is to use the username lookup from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/forgotten-your-microsoft-account-username-b2049472-3b8f-27d3-61c6-67a668453f4c

However, the system can only show you a hint of the username once you have provided the verification codes through the account's security verification methods.

You may also try finding your Microsoft account username in other products or services associated with that account through this link:

Lastly, if you haven't signed in to this account for more than 2 years, I'm afraid your account may have already been deleted/closed due to inactivity.

As stated by Microsoft, accounts that have not been signed in or have been locked for more than 2 years will be deleted due to inactivity, and they can no longer be recovered: https://support.microsoft.com/topic/microsoft-account-activity-policy-7c0a9fa7-0982-b7c6-fd72-df852b63699f

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
