Thank you so much for providing the solution!

PS 2029 isn't a red line, they would need to extend it surely :)

    Hi Antonio,

Typically, creating a mail profile helps, but you have 3 accounts, so this troubleshooting will be pretty much troublesome. Let me find what exactly is happening.

First, add a screenshot of the error.

To attach a screenshot, see below:

    • Press Windows key + Shift + S together on the keyboard. The screen will dim with overlay. Drag the pointer to take a screenshot.
    • The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. Please press Ctrl+V in the editor to paste it, then confirm to attach the image.

Alternatively, you can press the PrtScn key on the keyboard, if it exists, to directly copy the Entire screen, which you can paste using CTRL+V.

    #2:

Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

    Type "Outlook.exe /safe" without quotes.

    Press Enter.

If it opens let me know.

Use a step-by-step repair approach focused on Outlook Classic and the profile that was changed when the account was removed.

    1. Repair the Outlook/Office installation
      1. Close all Office apps.
      2. In Windows 10/11, right-click Start and select Installed apps (Windows 11) or Apps and Features (Windows 10).
      3. Select the Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 product and choose Modify (or the three dots > Modify).
      4. In How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair > Repair to fully repair Office. This repairs Outlook as well.
      5. Let the repair complete and then try starting Outlook Classic again.
    2. Repair or recreate the Outlook profile The error text about not being able to open the Outlook window or folders often indicates a damaged profile.
      1. Open Control Panel and go to Mail (or Mail (Microsoft Outlook)).
      2. Choose Show Profiles.
      3. Either:
        • Select the existing profile and choose Repair (if available), following the prompts, or
        • Select Add to create a new profile, re‑add the accounts, and point it to the existing data files (.pst) as needed.
      4. Set the new or repaired profile as default and start Outlook.
For detailed steps, see Fix your Outlook email connection by repairing your profile and Create an Outlook profile from the article I can't send or receive messages in Outlook.
    3. Start Outlook in Safe Mode If add-ins are blocking startup, Safe Mode can confirm it.
      1. Press the Windows key.
      2. Type outlook.exe /safe and press Enter.
      3. If Outlook opens in Safe Mode, the issue is likely with add-ins or the profile. In that case, creating a new Outlook profile (step 2) usually resolves it.
    4. Repair Outlook data files if needed If Outlook starts but behaves unexpectedly with .pst archives, repair the data files.
      1. Exit Outlook.
      2. Run the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANSPST.EXE) as described in Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost).
      3. After repair, reopen Outlook and reattach the .pst archive if necessary.
    5. If Outlook still will not start If the error persists after Online Repair and profile repair/new profile, use the classic Outlook startup troubleshooter:
      1. Run the classic Outlook startup troubleshooter from I can’t start Microsoft Outlook or receive the error “Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window”.
      2. Follow the prompts in Get Help on the same PC where Outlook Classic is installed.

These steps repair Office, the Outlook profile, and the data files, which together typically resolve the startup error and allow continued use of existing .pst archives in Outlook Classic.
