I have upgraded my Microsoft subscription to Microsoft 365 Premium but when i use Co-Pilot with Excel i can only process 5 requests per day. I have opened the excel file and made sure i am logged into excel with my MS 365 account, can anyone help as i was led to believe the upgrade to premium would de restrict the Co Pilot daily limits

    Hi Neil,

Microsoft 365 Personal/Family (Premium) does not include full Copilot for Microsoft 365. It gives you Copilot access but with limited usage (the 5 requests/day you're seeing is expected for that tier).

To get unlimited Copilot in Excel, you need one of:

    • Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license ($30/user/month) — requires a Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise base plan
    • Microsoft 365 Copilot Pro ($20/month) — this is the add-on for Personal/Family subscribers that removes the daily caps

Check your subscription at account.microsoft.com — you likely need Copilot Pro on top of your current Premium plan.

    Regards,
