I bought a subscription to play Green Hell with my brother but no matter what I do it won't let me go online. This has been an occurring problem with Minecraft too. Which did annoy me but I got over it but now it really annoys me because I bought the subscription again just to play with my brother and now I have no use for it. Does anyone know what I can do because I checked my age (+18) I went through settings everything is good, Wi-Fi is good and the connection is good, I don't know what I'm doing wrong

For Xbox and Microsoft account multiplayer, the most common cause when subscriptions and network look fine is that the account’s privacy and online safety settings are blocking multiplayer.

Because this has affected both Green Hell and Minecraft, the multiplayer permission for the account needs to be checked and changed by the family organizer (if the account is or was ever part of a family group).

Use these steps on the organizer’s account (parent/guardian) in the Xbox/Microsoft family settings:

    1. Sign in as the organizer on the Xbox privacy/online safety page.
    2. Go to:
      • Settings → Safety & Privacy → Manage safety privacy & safety settings → Privacy & online safety.
    3. Select the player account that cannot play online (the account used for Green Hell and Minecraft).
    4. Find the setting:
      • “You can join multiplayer games” / “Play games with others in Xbox multiplayer. This does not enable communication.”
    5. Set this to Allow.
    6. Save the changes and sign out.
    7. Sign back in on the player account and test multiplayer again in Green Hell or Minecraft.

Note that in some cases these changes can take several hours to propagate; if it still shows as blocked immediately, wait up to 24 hours and try again.

If the account was previously a child account, ensure it is no longer restricted by family settings even if the birthdate shows 18+.
