purchased home office 2024 yesterday and need direction to merge outlook classic to new outlook
You are aware that Office Home 2024 does not include Classic Outlook.
But that Office Home and Business 2024 does.

And you can also purchase a standalone Classic Outlook

If you are committed to moving from Classic Outlook to New Outlook you have a few things to do.
Add your email accounts to New Outlook. For any email types other than POP, it should sync with your mail server and bring down your emails. Depending on the account type it may also sync your Contacts and Calendar.
If it is an IMAP or POP account it will not sync your Contacts and Calendar and you will have to move them manually.
You can Export your Contacts from Classic Outlook to a CSV file and Import them into New Outlook

You can Publish (Export) your Calendar from Classic Outlook as an ICS file
(These instructions are for Exporting from Classic Outlook and Importing into Google Calendar. Just do the Export part).

And then Add (Import) the Calendar in New Outlook
