Currently, our AKS is at Azure cni networking where pods are using ip's from VNET. I am planning to enable overlay network plugin mode with azure cni..

Once it is applied, is it possible to revert the changes and remove overlay if any issue occurs from existing cluster?

It's not possible to revert the change.

I've asked the question about supportability of this to the AKS team on the GitHub issue
