Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know on what happened and I understand that you are checking for the refund with regards to the accidental purchase.

Please take note of the below.

Each store that sells Minecraft has its own return policy. Please visit the store where you purchased your Minecraft game for return and refund information.

Generally, Minecraft games purchased from Minecraft.net or the Microsoft/Xbox store are eligible for a refund within 14 days of the purchase date.

Refunds for digital items like games, add-on content, and skins are limited and depend on eligibility, but a request can be submitted.

For the Minecraft game or the accidentally purchased skin (in-app content), follow these steps:

    1. If the purchase was through Microsoft Store/Xbox:
      • Go to the Xbox support page to Request a refund for digital games and sign in with the account that made the purchase.
      • Select the relevant item (Minecraft game or the skin/add-on) and choose Request a refund.
      • Provide the reason (accidental purchase by child) and select Next, then Submit.
      • Refund requests may take up to 72 hours to process. Status can be checked on the Refund status tab or via Xbox order history.
    2. If the skin was purchased via a non-Microsoft billing platform (for example, an in-app store using another payment provider):
      • Refunds are handled by the billing platform used for the purchase.
      • Contact the publisher or the platform used for the in-app purchase, as described under In-app purchases with non-Microsoft billing platforms.

If online refund options are not available in the region or the item does not show as refundable, contact Microsoft Store or Xbox Sales support using the support links in the references for further assistance.
