I think the eligibility check can’t be changed by users, and you just send ur company registration through the Startups support form.

Eligibility decisions for Microsoft for Startups can’t be overridden through self-service, but there are a few concrete steps that can be taken next:

    1. Review the core eligibility criteria Ensure the startup matches all required conditions described in the application guide:
      • Stage: Pre-seed through Series C funding
      • Business model: B2B startup building software, AI, or technology solutions
      • Product readiness: Working toward or already at MVP, aiming for product–market fit
      • Privately held and independent (not a subsidiary of a larger organization)
      • Headquartered in a region where Microsoft for Startups operates If any of these are not met, the application can be declined even if payment and sign-up were successful.
    2. Check what can and cannot be changed
      • A submitted application cannot be edited.
      • If the application is still pending, it can be deleted using the link in the confirmation email and then resubmitted with corrected details.
      • If the application was declined, it is possible to reapply after 14 days, but only after addressing the feedback provided in the decision email.
    3. Use Azure while the case is clarified
      • If Startup credits were already provisioned with the initial sign-up, it is possible to continue building on Azure while the eligibility situation is clarified, as long as the Azure subscription itself is active and in good standing.
    4. Prepare documentation before reapplying Since company registration and other legal details are available, gather the following before reapplying (after the 14‑day window, if declined):
      • Registered startup name exactly as in legal documents
      • Registered business address and country/region
      • Website (if available)
      • Contact email and phone (both must be verifiable)
      • Payment information for Azure account setup (card will not be charged unless credits are exceeded)
      • Investor referral code (if working with a VC/accelerator in Microsoft’s Investor Network)
    5. If the issue is unclear from the decision email
      • Program Support can clarify reapplication criteria and what specifically needs to be fixed, but cannot override an eligibility decision.
      • Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal (if access is available) and use the support option:
        • Select the “?” icon in the top-right corner.
        • Choose “Submit a Support Ticket” and attach company registration documents and the eligibility decision email.
    6. If sign-up or Azure account creation itself is part of the problem
      • If there were any issues during Azure sign-up (for example, card verification, address mismatch, or identity checks), resolve those first using the Azure sign-up troubleshooting guidance, then ensure the Azure account is fully active before reapplying to Microsoft for Startups.

In summary: verify that the startup matches all eligibility criteria, review the decline email for specific feedback, correct any issues (company type, region, business model, or documentation), then reapply after 14 days. Use the Microsoft for Startups Portal support ticket flow to have the case reviewed and to understand exactly what must change before the next application.
