New format code for hide zero in excel

it says use code ***0;-0;;@ *** can hide zero in below link , but i find new format code, you just write 0;; , it also can hide Zero in the cell

please comments if i am right or not .

I think that you should not use 0;; if the cells contain negative numbers that must not be hidden. Use 0;-0; in this case.

one more thing , the official says use 0;-0;;@

so what is the different __0;-0;;@ and __0;-0; , could you kindly help me to make more clear , thanks

The last fourth portion is used to format the cells that contain text instead of numbers:

See the “Text and spacing” section. “@” means the text. The 0;-0; or 0;-0;;@ format will show the text. The 0;-0;; will hide the text. The 0;-0;;[Blue]@ will show the text using blue colour.
