No, Microsoft has not announced any plans for a native Outlook application for Linux at this time. The officially supported option remains Outlook web https://outlook.live.com/mail which can also be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) in supported browsers.

There is no information in the provided documentation about a native Outlook desktop client for Linux or any plans to release one. The available guidance focuses on using Outlook on the web, new Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, and mobile apps.

For Linux environments, the supported option in the context is to access Outlook via a browser (Outlook on the web / Outlook.com) rather than a native Linux application.
