My Azure Administrator certification expired yesterday (3 June 2026). It was showing the last date to renew as 4 June 2026, but when I checked it today, it is showing as expired and I could not find an option to renew it. Immediate help is highly appreciated.

The renewal period is open for 180 days before your expiry date. The renewal window cannot be extended or reopened. There are no exceptions. Expiry dates are in UTC - you need to have renewed before midnight UTC June 3rd, it will have expired at one minute past midnight on June 4th.

My certification expired. What happens now? If your certification expires, you must earn the certification again by passing the required exam(s).

The certification cannot be renewed after it has expired.

Microsoft role-based certifications are valid for one year. Renewal is only possible during the 6-month (180-day) window before the expiration date. Once the certification status changes to Expired, the renewal option is removed and the renewal window cannot be extended or reopened. To hold the Azure Administrator certification again, the required exam(s) must be passed again to re-earn the certification.
