    Hi,

Do you have any mods installed?

Have you tested it on a previous Minecraft build and the same problem occurs?

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

    Thanks

The exit code and behavior described are consistent with a graphics/driver issue triggered when Minecraft changes display mode (F11 fullscreen), especially with multiple monitors.

Based on similar gaming and crash cases, the most effective steps are:

    1. Clean‑reinstall or downgrade GPU drivers
      • Use a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)–style clean removal of the current graphics driver, then install a different version (often one or two versions older than the latest) for the GPU.
      • This approach resolved unknown/TDR‑type crashes for other games and for Minecraft for Windows after extensive other troubleshooting.
    2. Test without OEM tuning/overlay tools
      • If the system has vendor utilities that control performance/overclocking or overlays (for example, ASUS Armoury Crate, AMD Crash Defender, GPU tuning tools), temporarily uninstall or fully disable them and reboot.
      • Similar tools have been shown to cause BSODs and instability in games and general use; removing them restored stability.
    3. Use borderless/windowed instead of F11 fullscreen
      • In Minecraft’s Video Settings, set the game to run maximized windowed instead of toggling F11 fullscreen, then manually place it on the desired monitor.
      • This avoids the display‑mode switch that is triggering the crash.
    4. Check for system‑level stop errors or freezes
      • If the crash ever produces a Blue Screen or full system freeze, follow the Windows 11 stop‑error guidance: note any stop code shown and correlate it with the time of the crash in Event Viewer to see if a display or driver component is involved.

If the game becomes stable after changing the GPU driver version and disabling OEM utilities, keep that configuration and avoid F11 mode switches, or only use the display mode that does not trigger the crash.
