How do I use find my computer

To locate a registered Windows 10 PC, use the Find My Device feature tied to the Microsoft account.

1. On another device, open a browser and go to the Microsoft account devices page: https://account.microsoft.com/devices and sign in with the same Microsoft account used on the PC.
2. Select the Find My Device tab.
3. Choose the registered computer from the list of devices.
4. Select Find to display a map with the device’s last reported location.

Notes:

• The PC must have Find my device turned on and be signed in with the Microsoft account as an administrator.
• Location services must be enabled and the device must have internet and enough battery to report its location.

If Find my device is not turned on yet in Windows 10 on the PC:

1. On that PC, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Find my device.
2. Turn Find my device on.
