I have a free subscription assigned to my personal account. What I need to do is to move that subscription to my developer account.

Any help would be appreciated.

    hi @abbas izadipour

If you want to transfer a subscription from Tenant1 to Tenant2, you would need to make sure that Global Administrator of Tenant1 is added as owner to the subscription and add that user to Tenant2 as a guest user. After adding the guest user, you would need to assign the user with Global Administrator role in Tenant2 as well.

If you want to keep the current billing ownership, follow the steps in Associate or add an Azure subscription to your Azure Active Directory tenant. If you want to also transfer the billing ownership, follow the steps in Transfer billing ownership of an Azure subscription to another account. To transfer the subscription to a different directory, you must check the Subscription Azure AD tenant check box.

Backup your data: Before making any changes, ensure that you have backed up all your important data, files, and emails associated with your Microsoft subscription account.

Cancel or transfer any active subscriptions: If you have any active subscriptions linked to your current Microsoft account, you need to either cancel them or transfer them to your new account. This step ensures that you don't lose any paid services or subscriptions during the transition.

Create a new Microsoft account: If you don't already have a new Microsoft account, create one by visiting the Microsoft account creation page (account.microsoft.com). Make sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.

Notify Microsoft support (if necessary): If you have a specific reason for moving your Microsoft subscription account, such as a change in email address or other personal details, you might need to contact Microsoft support for assistance. They can guide you through the process or provide further instructions tailored to your situation.

Migrate data and services: Once you have your new Microsoft account set up, you'll need to transfer your data and services to the new account. Here are some common items you may need to migrate:

Emails: If you use Microsoft Outlook or any other email client, you can export your emails and import them into your new account. The exact steps may vary depending on the email client you use, so consult the relevant documentation or support resources.

Files and documents: If you have files stored in OneDrive, SharePoint, or any other Microsoft cloud storage service, you can transfer them to your new account. Download the files from your old account and then upload them to the corresponding location in your new account.

Software licenses and subscriptions: If you have any software licenses or subscriptions tied to your old Microsoft account, check if they can be transferred to your new account. Contact the respective software providers or Microsoft support for assistance with the transfer process.

Other services: If you use any other Microsoft services, such as Xbox Live or Microsoft 365, review their documentation or contact support for guidance on transferring those services to your new account.

Update your account information: Once you have migrated your data and services, make sure to update your account information wherever necessary. This includes updating your email address, contact details, payment information, and any other relevant information associated with your Microsoft subscriptions.
