Do we have plan bring semantic search feature to lower tier?

Currently, I'm developing a POC that uses Azure Cognitive Search and similarity search by enabling Semantic search feature. Unfortunately, it's only allowed if the resource is in the Standard tier. It's costing me a lot just for POC, small index size, and very few indexes.

I am concerned if the Azure team has a plan to bring this feature to the lower tiers.

Thanks

Hi @Vu Le

You can actually use Semantic Search in an Azure Cognitive Search Basic tier. There's a document change that needs to happen, but you should be able to select it now.
