    Hi Yue,

Issue reported: We are having trouble activating Microsoft 365 on a PC, it crashes every time we try to input MSA credentials.

Observation: It appears that some software algorithms are preventing your machine to get Microsoft 365 activated on your machine. We need to ensure that the machine is free from any corruption and a software conflict before we activate Mcirosoft 365 on a Windows machine. {(If it is a Mac, please clarify) (If the machine is connected to a domain, please clarify)}.

Note: Please take a backup of your machine before performing below mentioned troubleshooting, like bookmarks, Outlook datafiles and personal files under user library.

Troubleshooting: We first need to uninstall any older version of office installed in the problematic machine and the associated applications, like OneNote or OneDrive which get additionally installed. We also need to uninstall any third-party security software or cleaner software which may alter security algorithms.

We then need to remove their associated folders of the removed applications from the System Drive (Usually C:/ Drive) under Program Files, Program files(x86) and Program data. If you’re unable to remove some folders, skip them.

We then need to remove temporary files from a temp folder and perform a disk clean up.

Then we need to open Command Prompt under admin rights, perform a SFC scan followed by a check disk scan /f and restart your machine.

Type ‘SFC /Scannow’ and then hit enter (SFC Scan)

Type ‘CHKDSK /f’ hit enter and then type ’Y’ hit enter using elevated Command Prompt followed by a restart. (Check Disk Scan)

Once, the machine is restarted visit https://office.com/myaccount and sign in using the Microsoft account credentials which has a subscription. Go to >> Services & Subscription >> Click on Install button for the stated product.

Try to sign in again using the Microsoft account using any Office application and please update with your findings on this thread!

If you find trouble performing above mentioned troubleshooting, contact Microsoft Support using a link mentioned below.
