SHAREPOINT LIST AND POWER APPS - FORMAT A DATE FIELD

Hi. I'm back again! I've had to move on from the Issue Reporting app in MS TEAMS to Sharepoint Lists. I have all of the columns I need, have colour coded values etc etc. The only issue that seems to remain is the date format. Once saved, the date format is mm/dd/yyyy but in Australia we use dd/mm/yyyy. From within Powerapps I have tried changing the default DateTimeFormat.ShortDate to Text(DateTimeFormat.ShortDate, "dd/mm/yyyy"), but that hasn't made any difference. Can anyone offer any advice? I've also already changed my regional settings to Australia, still hasn't made any difference.

Hi Rowell, Vicki (Health), it is a pleasure to be able to help you : )

I tested locally, and in my environment, I can change the date format in the following ways:

1.Click on Settings gear >> Click on Site Information >> View all site settings

2.On the Site settings page, Under Site Administration, click on the Regional settings link.

    User's image

3.Click on the Locale drop-down list arrow and select the locale to display dates.

    User's image

4.Click on the OK button at the bottom to save your changes. And the date field changes to the "dd/mm/yyyy" format.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards.

    Thank you!!! This has worked.

Final question - now that I have applied this will it show as dd/mm/yyyy for all other users who have not changed their regional settings?
