Calendar reminders not staying dismissed

I am using Outlook with an email account through GoDaddy. Every time I open the Outlook App on my Windows 11 system, every remider from my calendar since inception pops up. I dismiss them all only to have them reappear the next time I open the app. Help.

    Hi @Philip Moss

    Depending on your description, to turn off reminders for past events, please follow these steps:

    • In Outlook, tap the File tab.
    • Click "Options" > "Advanced".
    • Under "Reminders," check the " Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events" checkbox.
    • Click "OK".
