I am trying to start a Defender for Cloud trial but have no option to start trial

To add to Dave Patrick's answer, you can enable Defender for Cloud and take advantage of the 30 days by following the steps in Enable Defender for Cloud on your Azure Subscription. There is no "trial"
Microsoft Defender for Cloud is free for the first 30 days. Any usage beyond 30 days will be automatically charged as per the pricing scheme below.
