I am relatively new to WSUS and SCCM. However, I am encountering a problem when try to import the metadata from the online connect WSUS server to the offline WSUS server. I use the following to Export from the Online server and then copy the files to the offline server

Export

wsusutil.exe export d:\simnet\export.xml.gz d:\simnet\export.log

Import

wsusutil.exe import d:\import\export.xml.gz d:\import\import.log

However, it does not seem to be completing. I started it yesterday at 11am, and it is 7am the next day and this has not changed. I can see the Update services command line utility is showing activity but it doesn't seem to complete

    See possible solutions here: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2210487-issues-with-a-offline-wsus-server

Also first time import can take a long time depending on how many updates you selected.

You can also check the log file so see what its doing.
