So everytime I plug and unplug my ASUS Zenbook Laptop it would always reset the screen and change the refresh rate. Is there a way to permenently set the refresh rate and disable the screen reset?

    Hi @Swijiq,

The ASUS Zenbook 14X is a laptop that has an OLED display with a variable refresh rate. This means that the screen can adjust its refresh rate automatically depending on the content you are viewing or the power source you are using. This can help improve the visual quality and save battery life.

However, if you want to turn off the automatic refresh rate and choose a fixed one, you can do so by following these steps:

Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.

Click on System and then on Display.

Under Advanced display, click on Choose a refresh rate.

Select a fixed refresh rate from the drop-down menu, such as 60 Hz or 120 Hz.

Alternatively, you can also use the MyASUS app to customize your display settings. Here’s how:

Open the MyASUS app from the Start menu or the taskbar.

Click on Device > Display & Camera.

Under Display refresh rate, choose Fixed refresh rate or Dynamic refresh rate.

If you choose Fixed refresh rate, you can select a specific refresh rate from the slider below.

I hope this helps you to turn off the automatic refresh rate on your ASUS Zenbook 14X. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.
