Ken Harvey 0 Reputation points2024-01-07T22:34:47.0733333+00:00 Hi Installing Office2019 didn't work for me. I had a copy on a Windows10 machine which I was scrapping, so I de-activated it and then attempted to install it on a new build Windows 11 machine.
I got a message headed "Microsoft", reading "Can't install this version of Office. Windows 10 in S mode doesn't support this version of Office. Use Office 1902 or later or switch out of S mode.
I appreciate the message stated "Windows 10", but I really was running Windows 11.
I went back to the supplier's website & they categorically stated that I needed to upgrade to Office 2021. That did load without errors.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Download Microsoft 365 from the Microsoft Store: o Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows 11 device. o Search for Microsoft 365 (Office) and download the app. o Once installed, launch Microsoft 365 (Office).
- Start the Installation Process: o In the Microsoft 365 (Office) app, look for the option "Install apps" located near the top right of the window. o Click on this option.
- Choose to Use Your Product Key: o Next, select "I have a product key." o Enter your Microsoft Office 2019 product key when prompted. You may need to add it to your Microsoft account before you can proceed further.
