SharePoint Server 2019 Search Service Application

I have deployed Search Service Application in SharePoint server 2019. I observer that

Search Service Application is fully running.
All Search components are Up and running.
SharePoint search engine is crawling components.

However, I cannot find ant items from SharePoint sites when I search for documents. Screenshot attached. 2023-08-28_14-33-18

Actions taken:

Restarted all the services.
Reset the search indexes.
Restarted the crawling again.
Removed the Search Service Application and re-deployed again.

Please suggest any solution.

Hi @Shuvajit Roy,

Please check you have permission to all the files. And for example, when you search for a file which file name is test123.txt. You will need to search the full name of the file. When you search 'test', you will not get the file and you could search 'test123' or 'test*' to get the file.

Hi @RaytheonXie_MSFT ,

I am searching from the "system account" and system account have all the permissions to the files.

When I search with the full name, documents appears properly.

Would you also tell me why would I not get a document just by searching "test" because there most of the time is may not be feasible to search the exact documents like "test1234"

Hi @Shuvajit Roy,

Per my research, currently there is no such function to use fuzzy query in sharepoint 2019 search. We will need to add wildcard to search. If we search 'test*', the result will return test.txt, test123.txt, test1234.txt.. Here is a similar issue with yours
