How can I change the margins in the comment balloons

I cannot easily read the comment balloons typed in my word document, as the margins are too far to the right side, leaving a very small area. How can I optimise this?

I did find a way to broaden the whole right space for comment balloons (Review --> tracking options (little arrow) --> Advanced Options --> Balloons: preferred width), but this doesn't help to remove the white space between document text and comments.
See the figure. I hope you can help me.User's image

The behavior you describe occurs if the text in the comment has a left indent applied to it. See example below.

If you can't get it sorted, consider sharing the document, or a representative sample, with the forum.

Hi @Ploeg, C.P.B. (Kitty) van der,

I tried to reproduce this issue in my Word (Microsoft® Word LTSC 2021 MSO (16.0.14332.20546) 64) but failed. What looks like on my end is attached below. Does this issue happen in all Word files on your PC? And what version of Word you are using? Would updating your Office to the latest fix this issue?
