Modify Certificate template

Hello

In a Windows CA, I have a certificate template configured and issued to several users. If I change the security of the template or some other value, does this change apply to the certificates already issued or to the new ones requesting the certificate? Do I have to reissue the certificate?

    Certificate template changes affect only newly issued certificates (issued after modifications are made). Existing certificates remain unchanged. This means that you may need to reissue certificates if necessary.
