Recently we have planned to upgrade to windows 11.

However, wifi authentication is failing.

We are using WPA2-Ent method.

    Hello

It seems like you’re not alone in experiencing this issue. Some users have reported similar problems with Windows 11 failing to connect to WiFi via WPA2-Enterprise authentication. Here are a few potential solutions that have worked for others:

Credential Guard: Credential Guard is on by default in Windows 11 and breaks PEAP authentication on enterprise WiFi. You could try disabling Credential Guard or switch to certificate authentication.

TLS Version: The new version of Windows 11 uses TLS 1.3 for EAP authentication. If your RADIUS server only uses TLS 1.2, it might not recognize TLS 1.3. You can force the TLS version to 1.2 by modifying the registry.

Group Policy Object (GPO): Some users have reported success with creating a GPO to allow their devices to connect to the WiFi.

Update Network Drivers: Make sure your network drivers are up-to-date.

Troubleshoot: Use the built-in troubleshooter in Windows 11 to diagnose and fix common connection issues.
