The service period of the MSSQL we are using now is about to end. So I'm trying to upgrade my system to a higher version.
I'm considering the 2019 and 2022 versions and I'm wondering if the 2022 version has become safe enough.

For what it's worth, we are running SQL 2022 in production since a few months back. No issues.

SQL 2019 will go out of mainstream support in about a year, so if you go dor SQL 2019, you will soon have to upgrade again.

the 2022 version has become safe enough.

    Why the doupt?

I have over 25 years of experience (starting with SQL Server 6.5) and all versions have been very stable ... beside some smaller bugs, sometimes. :-)
