No GPT4 access even though approved!!!

I had gain access to azure openai service earlier in the year and now would like to use GPT4 as well, i went to the form link where it said that "A separate application for Azure OpenAI GPT-4 is no longer needed. Please make sure you have applied to the Azure OpenAI Service. Once approved for the Azure OpenAI Service, you will have access to GPT-4"

However when i go to azure openai studio and check the model list, GPT4 is not there.

How do i get access to GPT4 if i can't apply with the form and not seeing it automatically in my model list?

Hi @Katkat ,

In which region your Open AI resource is? As mentioned in the documentation, there are limited availability of GPT-4 models in East US/East US 2 and France Central region, and this could be preventing you from deploy a new GPT-4 model in East US.

I suggest you to please use your other GPT-4 model versions and a different region like Canada East, Sweden Central and Switzerland North which is available for GPT-4 model creation.

@Katkat I just got a confirmation that GPT-4 is now available to all subscriptions in the following regions.

GPT-4 Regions Available to All Azure OpenAI-Enabled Subscriptions

·       Canada East

·       Sweden Central

·       Switzerland North

As you already have approval you should be able to see the GPT-4 models in the above regions.

@saurabh sharma I created a new resource and use the Canada East region and GPT4 was in the model list, i was able to deploy and now GPT4 is working! Thanks for you help. Issue has been resolved.
