Hello Damilare Aofolaju
- Make sure that the Network Discovery service is running. To do this, go to the Services app (type "services.msc" in the Start menu search bar), find the Network Discovery service, and make sure it's set to "Automatic" and is running.
- Check your network profile settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet (or Wi-Fi, depending on your connection type) > Network profile, and make sure it's set to "Private". If it's set to "Public", network discovery won't work.
- Check your firewall settings. Make sure that the firewall isn't blocking network discovery. You can try temporarily disabling the firewall to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check your network adapter settings. Make sure that your network adapter is set to "Discoverable". To do this, go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click on your network adapter, and select Properties. Under the "Networking" tab, make sure that "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" are both checked, and that "Network Discovery" is enabled.
Best Regards,
Hania Lian
