Hello
Microsoft Whiteboard is a modern Windows 10 app and it doesn’t reside in a specific location on your hard drive like traditional programs. Instead, its files are stored in a protected system directory that isn’t easily accessible.
However, if you want to add Microsoft Whiteboard to your startup apps, you don’t need to know its exact location. Here’s how you can do it:
Open the Startup folder: Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type shell:startup, and press Enter. This will open the Startup folder in a new File Explorer window.
Create a shortcut for Whiteboard: Go to the Start Menu, find Microsoft Whiteboard, and drag it to the Startup folder. This will create a shortcut that will run when you log in to Windows.
As for the data created in Microsoft Whiteboard, it’s stored in OneDrive. You can find all of your whiteboards in the Whiteboard folder in OneDrive.
If you’re unable to create a shortcut from the Start Menu, you might want to try accessing Whiteboard through the Windows Ink Workspace. Right-click an empty area of the taskbar and select the “Show Windows Ink Workspace button” item from the list. A new icon will be added to the system tray. Click the new icon and you will be able to choose the Whiteboard app.
