     .

Time series anomaly detection & forecasting - Azure Data Explorer | Microsoft Learn
    .

    ** UPDATE ***

    Dear valued customer,

As you might already know, Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor will be deprecated in Oct 2026, during which existing Azure Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor resources will continue to operate, but no new resources can be created. In terms of replacement, we are still finalizing the detailed guidance for the migration from Azure Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor to Azure Fabric. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and uncertainty, but we assure you that we are working diligently to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Please expect an update early next year.

In the meantime, we highly recommend that you stay updated on the latest developments by regularly checking the official documentation and email from us. Additionally, you can reach out to Microsoft support for any specific questions or concerns you may have.

Once the detailed guidance is available, we will share it with you and provide any necessary assistance in migrating to Azure Fabric. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Hi Shinyee,

I believe there is no direct replacement to Azure Anomaly Detector.

"Anomaly Detector is an AI service with a set of APIs, which enables you to monitor and detect anomalies in your time series data with little machine learning (ML) knowledge, either batch validation or real-time inference."

With the push to adopting ML platforms, Azure has Azure ML Studio where you can train data to imitate the services provided by Azure Anomaly Detector.

"Starting on the 20th of September, 2023 you won’t be able to create new Anomaly Detector resources. The Anomaly Detector service is being retired on the 1st of October, 2026."
