Save As locations

Hello!

We have this issue where people open existing Office files and then go to File<Save As. The default location is taking them to our organization's OneDrive instead of the location of the existing file they opened. They need to click down to Other Locations where they can click This PC to go right to the existing file's location. Is there a backend setting that can be adjusted to restore the default Save As location for existing files to be the location where they currently sit at that moment? See attached picture showing OneDrive is the default.

    Hi @Matthew Rosier

Currently Office can set a specific default save path by existed option, but it cannot automatically adjust it based on where existing documents are saved.

For your need, I would suggest you submit a feature request on Microsoft Feedback Community.

Besides, I add an 'Office Development' tag, as VBA code may be helpful to you.

    Thanks for your understanding.
