I see this post https://azure.github.io/AppService/2023/11/14/dotnet8-ga.html But I want to know when dotnet 8 for Azure Web Apps is out of early access.
If I create a new web app the runtime stack dropdown still says ".net 8 (lts) (Early Access)".
But if I go to modify an existing web app the drop down says ".net 8 (lts)".
Is it out of Early Access, and if not when will it be?

@Ian Jones Thanks for reaching here! The Release responsible to pre-install .NET 8 bits on windows Apps should be completed soon for all regions, cannot share ETA here. Will keep the thread updated.

Hello, is there any update on the Net 8 full support for web apps on Azure? I have a net 7 app that I want to perform the final test on before I publish it but have held off waiting for net 8 to be fully supported. Given Net 7 drops out of support in a few months I would like to get this retested on net 8 as soon as possible
@Ian Jones update- You should be able to run .NET 8 apps on Windows in majority of the regions/stamps.
Also, team, is planning to remove the “Early Access” label once roll out is completed. ETA in coming weeks (tentatively).

I have a new deploy to do in 2 weeks, I´ve updated to .NET 8 and I´m using .NET 8 Early Access on DEV Environment, should I Keep .NET 8 and proceed to QA Environment or change it to .NET 7?

Same here. In .NET 8 & EF Core 8 there are plenty of new features I need in my project, while with .NET 7 I had to use workarounds. For Azure AppServices .NET 8 still has early access label, and my customer don't want to migrate to it even though it has almost no impact.

I am also waiting for .NET 8 General access. Do you have an update on when .NET 8 will be in general access on Windows Azure Apps?
LindaStaffans-2976 Update- You should now be able to use .NET 8 confidently in both Linux and Windows App Service, discussed issues are kind of fixed. Team is working on the deployment at portal side to remove the “Early Access” label, which will add to the confidence. Keep you posted further.
@Ian Jones Update- Early access label is removed from Portal for .NET 8 and with this there are no more open items for .NET 8.
