If you installed Enablement Package KB5027397 msu file, you get "Feature Update .." in update history
if WU installed 23H2 version, then it will be just "Windows 11, version 23H2"
2 PC's updated to windows 11 23h2 but only one shows feature update

I have 2 dell inspirons one desktop, one laptop. They were running 22h2 and I update each one on a monthly basis.
In november they both updated on 15/11/23 showing 2023-10 Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) as successful.
on 17/11/23 the laptop updated to 23h2 showing on history as a feature update and showed the new features but despite running windows update the desktop doesn't show this feature update.
Using system settings they both show 23h2 as operating system but different builds,
22631.2715 on laptop
and 22631.2792 on desktop.
Is there an explanation for why they have diverged and how to fully update the desktop

2023-12-18T16:46:36.93+00:00 As per comment on Hania's answer I have applied the 2023-12 update and both PC's are now showing build 22631.2861 with the equivalent experience pack.
The update history still shows only the laptop as having the feature update applied on 17/11 .
Strang but now both on same build.

We could try to install KB5032288. According to the Win11 update history, KB5032288 refers to OS build 22631.2792.

Thanks for yours and abbodi86 posts.
I had picked up on KB5027397 and applied it on the desktop, the update scan then picked KB5032288 and applied it but the update history still doesn't show the functional update.
I'm not worried about the functionality but just interest in the divergence.
The monthly update should be available in UK tomorrow so I will update both systems in the next few days and see what happens.
