AZ104 Exam | Log Analytics Workspace

Hey MSfam,

I am writing AZ104 on Wed27.23, to this end I am taking practice exams, in one of them I am presented with the question of whether a log analytics workspace in West US can be used with a resource from East US, or basically 2 different regions. When I answer no, it marks me wrong.

I have now spent time researching this, technically, the loganwrkspce does not have to be in the same region but it is recommended,

Which is the correct answer if I am asked on the exam?

    Hi @Nolan Lemuel Augustine ,

    the answer to the question whether a log analytics workspace in West US can be used with a resource from East US, or basically 2 different regions is Yes. But be aware of addition costs for bandwidth charges if the Log Analytics Workspace and the resources are in different regions. Source: Azure regions
