Disk d disappeared

So my problem is, Whenever I launch my laptop my disk D is not visible, I tried fixing it through chkdsk but it tells me
"Cannot open volume for direct access." So I cant really do anything except launching and praying that a disk check will appear

You can consider some of the following steps:

Press Win + X and select "Device Manager." Check if there are any errors or warnings related to your disk drive. If so, it could indicate a driver issue.
In Device Manager, right-click on your disk drive and select "Uninstall device." Restart your computer. Windows will reinstall the drivers automatically.
Check if there are any firmware, BIOS, or UEFI updates available for your motherboard. Updating these components can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with certain drives.

Your answers below to this question (disk D disappearing) are confusing. You state in your two responses above: Look for your Disk D in the list of drives. It might be in a "Disconnected" or "Offline" state. I found the disk listed, but how do I know whether it is in a disconnected or offline state? And what to do about it.

Next advice: In Disk Management, right-click "Disk Management" and select "Rescan Disks." Can't do this, since option "Rescan disk": is not available.

In your next response the advice is: Press Win + X and select "Device Manager. So I did. No indications of errors or warnings. The next recommended step is: In Device Manager, right-click on your disk drive and select "Uninstall device.". I did this but an option Uninstall disk is not available.

In summary, plenty of good advice, but all referring to a system from another planet.

Press Win + X and select "Disk Management" from the menu.

Look for your Disk D in the list of drives. It might be in a "Disconnected" or "Offline" state.

If the disk is offline, right-click on it and choose "Online."

In Disk Management, right-click "Disk Management" and select "Rescan Disks."

Restart in Safe Mode.
Open Command Prompt as administrator and type chkdsk D: /f /r

Update Disk driver.
