I am trying to work with a solution which uses Azure OpenAI services. While I am checking with the availability of Azure OpenAI services in UAE North Region, its listed there.
As in this link:
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/explore/global-infrastructure/products-by-region/?products=cognitive-services,search&regions=uae-north

But while I am trying to create an AzureOpenAI resource in my Azure Subscription, the UAE North region is not in the list. According to this documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/openai/concepts/models#model-summary-table-and-region-availability
The none of the Azure OpenAI models are available in UAE North Region.

My Azure subscription, already have the access to AzureOpenAI resources in different regions like EastUS, WestUS2 and also have a resource of Azure AI Search in UAE North Region.

Help me with solving this issue. I need to create a Azure OpenAI Resource in UAE North Region.

@Manu Nair I appreciate your patience. I got a confirmation from the Product Group team that the first link is correct.

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/explore/global-infrastructure/products-by-region/?products=cognitive-services,search&regions=uae-north

So the Azure Open AI does support UAE North but the access is extremely limited. You can't request access as it's not yet made publicly available.

You need to keep a track of the availability and look at the below Azure OpenAI model docs to check regional availability- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/openai/concepts/models#model-summary-table-and-region-availability

We will update this docs once the UAE North is publicly available. There is no ETA at this moment.

I believe the first link is wrong. Both the Open AI docs and actually trying to deploy an instance in UAE north show that it is not available in that region. Given this, you will not be able to deploy Azure Open AI into that region until Microsoft decide to make it available.
