Hi, I would like to know if i could use Microsoft teams free after the Microsoft teams exploratory has been expired.

After April 12, 2023, Microsoft is retiring Microsoft Teams Free (classic), the legacy free Teams app for business. Microsoft is making this change to invest in a single free Teams experience across personal and small business. For over a year, Microsoft has only allowed new customers to sign up for the new Microsoft Teams (free).
If you want to keep your data and continue using Teams, you can upgrade your users to a paid Teams license.

You’ll need to either move to the new free version (which has a limited set of features) or upgrade to a paid version. Does that mean even the Microsoft teams business which i am using now can be moved to the new free version with data lose ?
You’ll need to manually backup any data as the new version of Microsoft Teams (Free) is different. from the article:
There’s no automated process to move any content or data from Microsoft Teams Free (classic) to Microsoft Teams (free). You will need to manually create chats and meetings, and communities to replace teams.
