Good afternoon,

I'm currently working on implementing Azure DALL-E to generate images and while studying the documentation I faced some obstacles and couldn't find the proper answer to my questions. Does DALL-E support editing images? I'm especially interested in these cases:

  1. A user wants to generate variations of the last generated image.
  2. A user wants to edit the last generated image.
  3. A user wants to upload an image and edit it.

I see that DALL-E 2 in Open.ai can do it. Is it possible with Azure DALL-E?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Bazhena Kholina

Hello, Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

    Based on previous Q&A.

Currently, DALL-E is designed to create images from textual descriptions and does not offer direct editing capabilities. You can use the image generation API to create new images based on your descriptions.

    Best regards,
    Charlie
