Dear Microsoft team! It seems that this problem has not solved still in 2024 despite many complaints by many users across the world.
I have a Dell XPS 9500 with pretty high-end config (Core i7 10750, Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti and 16 GB RAM and with 4K display). The issue is that my machine is running perfect with Windows 10 animations but since I switched to Windows 11, animations of windows like minimizing and opening start menu get so choppy. (it is like 15 frames per second!) This is certainly a common issue from Windows with 4K display machine that has never solved for a long time. Not Dell or Intel UHD concern. All my drivers are up-to-date, and also I updated my BIOS. But everybody knows this is a drawback from windows because we do not have it in Windows 10.
(I should also mention that the issue get worse by enabling the transparency effect) Disabling the animations is not acceptable for me. Any help would be appreciated to solve this long-term problem before I switch to MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance

Hello It seems that you’re not alone in experiencing this issue. Other users with similar setups have reported similar problems with Windows 11 animations, especially on 4K displays. Here are some suggestions that might help:   Adjust Visual Effects: You can try adjusting the visual effects settings in Windows. To do this, open the start menu and search for “Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows”. Select the “Visual Effects” tab then choose the animation effects you want to turn off.   Change MenuShowDelay: You can try changing the MenuShowDelay option in the Windows Registry. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop, double-click on the MenuShowDelay option and change the Value data option to any choice between 0 and 4000. To speed up the animations, input a small value that ranges from 0 to 150.   Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA, Intel, or Dell websites.   Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 is up-to-date. Microsoft may release updates that could improve performance.   Disable Transparency Effects: As you mentioned, disabling transparency effects can improve performance. However, since you prefer to keep the animations, this might not be the ideal solution for you.   Please note that these are general suggestions and might not completely resolve the issue. As this seems to be a common problem with Windows 11 on 4K displays, it might require a future update from Microsoft to fully address this issue.
