1.Microsoft Planner:
a.Roster Plans: Microsoft Planner now supports roster plans, which are containers for managing tasks and assignments. Rosters allow you to organize plans without relying on Microsoft 365 Groups. Schedule View: In Planner, you can use the Schedule view to get an overview of upcoming tasks and easily set dates by dragging and dropping tasks.
b.Charts View: The Charts view helps you track the status of your plans.
How to Enable:
To create a roster plan in Microsoft Planner, follow these steps:
Create a Roster: Use PowerShell commands to create a roster (a security container) that holds members and plans.
Add Plans to Roster: Once the roster is created, add plans to it.
Members: The creator of the roster is automatically a member, and additional members can be added via the Planner web UI.
For detailed instructions, refer to the Microsoft Learn article.
Limitations: Currently, there is no user interface (UI) within Planner to create a roster plan directly. PowerShell commands are used for this purpose.
2.Shifts App in Teams:
If your company uses Microsoft Teams, consider using the Shifts app. It allows you to create schedules, assign shifts, and manage work hours.
How to Enable:
Open Teams, go to the Shifts app, and start building your schedule. You can assign shifts to team members, copy and reuse shifts, and manage open shifts.
