Upgrading of Win 10 to win 11 enterprise through MDT causes some pc to become win 11 pro and some as win 11 enterprise. Not sure what causes this, hope to find an answer.

Hello The issue you’re experiencing could be due to a variety of factors. Here are some possible reasons and solutions:   Incorrect Image Index: When deploying Windows 11 using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), it’s important to specify the correct image index. If the wrong index is specified, it could result in the wrong edition of Windows being installed.   Outdated MDT Version: If you’re using an older version of MDT, it might not fully support Windows 11. Updating to the latest version of MDT could resolve the issue.   License Key Issues: The edition of Windows that gets installed can also depend on the license key that’s used. If a Windows 11 Pro key is used, it could result in Windows 11 Pro being installed instead of Windows 11 Enterprise.   Task Sequence Configuration: The task sequence used for deployment in MDT could be incorrectly configured, leading to the wrong edition of Windows being installed. Make sure the task sequence is correctly set up to install Windows 11 Enterprise.   Leftover MDT Files: There could be leftover MDT files on the root of the drive being imaged, causing issues with the imaging process. Cleaning the drive before imaging could help.
