Azure Windows 2019 / 2022 Marketplace Images - how to downgrade from Datacenter to Server?

The marketplace Windows server images provided by Microsoft are all Windows Datacenter Edition. Is there a procedure for downgrading the licensing from DC, similar to some onprem methods? I'm not asking towards an Azure Hybrid Benefit answer, looking for help with smaller 2 or 4 core machines.

    there are no official downgrade options but you can edit registry

    since it is risky i offer to you to backup your system first then do the config mentioned as in the following article
