Post a video in Teams chat

Can Teams directly post a video in the chat box? My chat box can only add pictures and there is no option to add videos.

    Hi @lst126

    First of all, you can't send video to each other directly from the chat box.
    You can save the video file locally or in your OneDrive, and share the file with the other party in the chat box.

    Additionally, Teams currently supports sending short video clips using the chat box, accessed by clicking the small camera icon in the Teams text chat box next to the "Send" button. From there, a pop-up screen allows users to record short clips and edit length before posting to Teams chat.

    As Teams is the official successor for MS Kaizala (which could do much larger video file uploads), Teams should also support larger video file uploads for people who're a guest to MS Teams. This is really a feature which is missing to be able to use Teams with partners, vendors etc. who don't have their own teams license. A lot of independent contractors are too small companies to require them to invest in MS Teams licenses. Kaizala allowed a lot of features like WhatsApp, but Teams is very limiting on that side.
