remote desktop for windows 10 home edition

Do i have to buy windows 10 pro to use remote desktop or is it possible to buy only the remote desktop accessory in addition to windows 10 home?

    Or use one of the VNC ports. I use UltraVNC on my home pc's.

    Hi @Isabelle Bintner ,

    It is not possible to use Remote Desktop for WIndows 10 Home edition, you can use Remote Desktop to connect to Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise editions.
    In your case you would need to upgrade to either Professional or Enterprise edition.

    Hi,

    You can use Remote Desktop to connect to Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise, Windows 8.1 and 8 Enterprise and Pro, Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate, and Windows Server versions newer than Windows Server 2008. You can't connect to computers running a Home edition (like Windows 10 Home).
