Hi,

a specific group of people have regular meetings with presentations and these are recorded. We collect these meeting recordings in one place which is a Sharepoint folder. Now it is done usually by the meeting organizers, but on busy days it can be forgotten. We'd like to automize this with the following result: the meeting recording will be automatically saved (without expiration date) in the specific Sharepoint folder.
Is there any solution for that?

    Hi @LG

You can use PowerAutomate to achieve this functionality.

If the meeting you hold is a channel meeting, the Teams meeting recording file will be saved in the folder on the SharePoint Site corresponding to the team. In this case, you should use When a file is created (SharePoint) as the trigger.

If you are holding a normal meeting, you need to use When a file is created (OneDrive) as the trigger.

Additionally, you don't need to create a flow for each user, as long as the person who created the flow is in the meeting every time.

To autosave Teams recordings to a specific SharePoint folder, you can set up a flow in Power Automate. First, create a new flow in Power Automate and select "When a new video is added (OneDrive)" as the trigger. Then, add a "Create file" action and select the SharePoint folder where you want to save the recording. Finally, map the recording file properties to the corresponding SharePoint file properties and save the flow. This will automatically save any new Teams meeting recordings to the specified SharePoint folder.
