In earlier versions of Excel I had the possibility to connect directly to an IBM DB2 database.
Currently this possibility is missing. Can I activate it somehow?

Yes, there have been a "Aus IBM DB2 Datenbank", but at the end it was just a preselection of the data provider to use, nothing else; no magic trick behind.
Use "Aus anderen Quellen", then a data provider of your choose, e.g. OleDB or ODBC and follow the wizard.
