My outlook inbox is not receiving emails.
Every time somebody sends me an email, he gets the following message: "The recipient's email system isn't accepting messages now. Please try resending this message later or contact the recipient directly".
I need my inbox badly. What is the problem? Is this a Microsoft glitch or bug?

If you have any update about this issue, please feel free to post back.
How long has this been going on? Are messages from all senders failing or just some?
It could be a server-side problem unless your mailbox is new or there were recent changes that were misconfigured.
Are you using a Microsoft 365 business account?
I'm having the same problem as well. Haven't rcvd an email since yesterday afternoon. I tried emailing myself from my work email and got the same thing. The recipient's email system isn't accepting messages now. Please try resending this message later or contact the recipient directly
Exactly the same here. I have this problem since last night. I also tried emailing myself from my work email and got the same thing. I also asked some friends to email me and the same situation occurs.
In conclusion: we are unable to receive email from any address
All day, some messages are coming in (very few) but nothing is going out. Can't even email myself or my second email account.

I’ve had this issue since Monday 9th April. Cannot send or receive and other people are getting the same auto reply email message. I have plenty of storage so there’s no reason to think it’s that. Seems like a server issue on Microsoft’s side. When will this be resolved? This is my business account.

this has been happeing all morning to me, no settings changed started getting kick back messages from outside companys, credit cards, kickstarter.
I can send but can not recive please fix this a lot of emails go through my box every day.

Now I'm receiving emails. Maybe the problem is fixed. But I didn´t received emails from last evening and from today.
mine seems to be back to normal. I don't see any emails that loaded in from yesterday but new ones are coming in now
At 6 pm today all my emails started working again although the past two days I’ve not and still not received any emails but just pleased it’s all back to normal at present
